I call this old fashioned because I remember my mom making it when I was younger and me hating it. But there’s something about becoming an adult that changes things…
Now I think it’s the perfect snack! Just dip it with crackers or throw it on a couple of slices of bread 🙂
Here’s the simple recipe and remember, I’m NOT a recipe generator, I’m a mom aka someone who rushes through everything to go back to my real job of mommying. So excuse the roundabout measurements 🙂
- 2 cans of tuna or 1 big can (in water). I made the mistake of buying it in vegetable oil once and YUCK! Lol.
- 1/4 of an onion
- 1/2 stalk of celery
- Couple shakes of ground pepper
- 1-2 tablespoons of sweet relish, beware there are different kinds out there. Don’t ask how I know! (facepalm emoji)
- 1-2 tablespoons of mayo (or olive oil OR avocado, I’ve tried both)
- 1 boiled egg, chopped
I usually taste it to make sure I like it and always end up adding more relish and mayo…
Mix it all together and VOILA! I’ll update with a better pic soon haha!
